2nd Annual Waldron River Float!!

This past weekend we took our 2nd annual Waldron Family river float! What a blast!! We figure we will learn from our mistakes each year in the hopes that we have a flawless trip in about five years! The first year, we ended up with these ridiculously tiny tubes that, if it weren't for the life jackets, we wouldn't have even stayed afloat! I left with several bruises on my bottom from the numerous rocks it came in contact with on the way down! But all in all we had so much fun that we decided to make it an annual trip! This year we were equipped with more luxurious tubes, including drink holders and a pillow! (Ethan was the only one that took advantage of the pillow with a little afternoon snooze!) The only problem this year: the keys for the car that we left at the ramp to drive us back to the drop off point were left in the car at the drop off point! Brilliant I know! I take credit for that one!! Oh well, thank goodness for the over-the-hill singles group from BYU Idaho for a ride back upstream!! We had a great time and we are all looking forward to next years trip!!
